Coaching
TGFF will provide coaching sessions with veterans, professional coaches, and HR recruiters to help veterans best present themselves in interviews and meetings. The job preparedness curriculum will assist with: cover letters/resumes, interview prep, self-esteem (confidence) taking direction and criticism (opponents) in the work environment, time management, strength and skill recognition, active listening, self-motivation, identifying and understanding work limitations, decision making, job-shadowing/internships.
The goal is to leave no stone unturned when veterans enter the workforce: they feel confident, have all the necessary tools while making their career journey hopeful and exciting.
Life Coaching goes further if one chooses and can be very helpful in making the most of the challenges and triumphs of daily life and assist in myriad ways.
Career Counselling
Executives and recruiters, along with TGFF volunteers and staff, will assist in identifying options that help expand your social connections, trades, and interest. Maybe you’re an entrepreneur in the making! Perhaps you want to start your own business and need guidance or insight on how to do that. Our team can assist. We can provide information and support on how to tap into your skills, help you identify your interests, navigate towards further education, and develop a financial plan to get you there. Career counseling can help you reach your professional goals, whether it’s going back to school or taking the next step in your current career field. Let’s get started on action planning and decision making, it’s never too late.
