Nobody knows what it’s like to train, to serve, to deploy, to see, hear, and smell the same as another veteran. It is a widely held tenet of many successful programs, that those who have found ways, learned practices to overcome or successfully coping are the best at helping others out of difficulty, even or rather most especially the variety of darkness and despair. It’s perhaps only one who has faced that shared experience and can identify, having found the means by which to live each day that can be the real wingman.
Finding your Wingman….TGFF is building a network of veterans to work with other veterans.
